Atelier LEK is an independent design studio that specializes in lighting: lighting in public spaces, lighting for the exterior and lighting for the interior of buildings. Our method is characterized in that we think about light at the conceptual level, we make designs in which the perception of space is central. Light is always a part of a greater whole and we find it therefore important to work together with all disciplines and parties. Atelier LEK excels in re-framing complex assignments to an understandable level and finding ingenious, multi-value lighting concepts for people and planet. In her 20 years of experience in lighting design she developed a working process that enables an early participation in multidisciplinary projects in the role of a knowledge-hub between the client, user, contractor and market.

Proef Rokin Amsterdam
The interior of the new headquarters of Genmab, designed by Cepezed, was completed and the office was officially opened in June 2018. Incredible to see how carefully designed details have led to seemingly self-evident simplicity, for the interior and for the lighting.
