'In de stad & in het groen' geeft precies het karakter van de Merellaan weer. De huizen zijn van achter aangelicht waardoor de statige contouren benadrukt worden. In combinatie met de verlichte beplanting ontstaat een natuurlijk schaduwspel en zo contrasteert de 'stad op de achtergrond' met de groene Merellaan. Daarnaast zijn de huizen voorzien van lichtgevende panelen met iconen die historische verhalen en verrassende anekdotes vertellen.
'Merellaan Glows' is een unieke co-creatie van Atelier LEK met de huidige bewoners van de Merellaan. Het lichtconcept vertelt de verhalen van de vroegere en de huidige bewoners van deze groene laan in de binnenstad. Klik op en icoon om het verhaal er achter te lezen.
'In the town & in the park' exactly characterises the Merellaan. The houses are being illuminated from the backgardens as a result of which the stately contours are emphasized. In combination with the illuminated plantation in the front gardens, a natural shadowplay springs up and thus contrasts 'the city in the background' with the green Merellaan. Moreover, the houses are provided with luminous panels with icons on them telling those historical stories and surprising anecdotes.
'Merellaan Glows' (merel=blackbird) is a unique joint creation of Atelier LEK with the present occupants of the Merellaan. The lighting concept tells the stories of the earlier and the present occupants of this green lane in the centre of Eindhoven.
